30 Jan 2017 Jeff Chambers Joins Microporous Family
Jeff Chambers will be joining the Microporous team as New Product Development Manager on January 30, 2017. He will be reporting to Vice President of Technology.
In this role he will be responsible for managing product development projects, as well as the analytical activities in the Piney Flats technical center, and managing the Microporous intellectual property portfolio.
Jeff comes with over 20 years of experience in product development and intellectual property management, including experience with Polypore, Whatman HemaSure and Pall Corporation, and most recently as Managing Director of the consulting firm United Membrane Technology Group. Jeff’s extensive experience with a variety of membranes and membrane systems (including battery separators) will help us drive new product development initiatives. He has extensive experience in managing intellectual property, including being named as an inventor on 5 recently granted patents and on 5 pending patent applications.
Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and has completed post-graduate coursework at the State University of New York. Jeff will be relocating to the Johnson City area. In his spare time, Jeff enjoys nature photography and traveling.
