Microporous As A Member of the ALABC Joins Argonne Lab for Next-gen Lead Acid Batteries Study

 

Under the terms of a new agreement signed with the U.S. Department of Energy’s Argonne National Laboratory, 14 U.S. members of the Advanced Lead Acid Battery Consortium have banded together to grapple with some of their common challenges on improving the performance of lead-acid batteries to meet the market demands for existing applications and for new applications.

“There’s a need, the resources are available at Argonne, and industry is willing to put money into making this happen,” said Don Karner, president of Electric Applications Incorporated of Phoenix, Arizona, program coordinator for the companies.
