Microporous is installing our first full-scale commercial coated wet-process PE lithium-ion battery separator line in our Plant 2 facility in Piney Flats, TN. Plant 2 is our newest state-of-the-art separator production facility which has been operational since 2020.
A dedicated space within Plant 2 is already in place, with new equipment being installed and commissioned as we prepare for clean and dry room installations to ensure we adhere to world-class production standards.

On November 13, 2024, Microporous proudly broke ground on its new facility at the Southern Virginia Megasite in Danville, Virginia.
